Kayla Rowe Built Her Fantasy Box to $100M Without Investors

A public health graduate turned a personal loss into a feminine-care brand that grew up on TikTok Shop, crossed nine figures in sales, and never sold a share to get there.

The people searching “who owns Her Fantasy Box” usually expect a holding company or a private equity name. The answer on the record is simpler. Kayla Rowe started it, and she says she has never taken outside money for it. “We’ve built this company from the ground up without outside investment,” she told AfroTech in June 2026, as the brand went into more than 4,000 CVS Pharmacy stores.

That makes Her Fantasy Box one of the larger self-funded women’s wellness brands to emerge from the TikTok Shop era, with more than $100 million in total sales by December 2025, by the company’s count.

Where it started

Rowe has a public health degree from the University of South Florida, which AfroTech reports she earned in 2015, according to her LinkedIn. Her mother worked as a certified nursing assistant, and AfroTech credits that with sparking her interest in health.

The company’s origin is personal. In 2021, Rowe had a miscarriage at five months pregnant. “That was very hard for me,” she said, in a quote AfroTech attributes to Ebony. She launched Her Fantasy Box a year later.

The products are the everyday kind: probiotics, a boric acid vaginal wash, an all-over deodorant, a turmeric body wash and a skin-smoothing body oil. The June 2026 coverage describes them as dermatologist- and gynecologist-tested.

Built on TikTok Shop

Her Fantasy Box grew where its customers already were. A company release quoted by AfroTech in December 2025 named it the top feminine hygiene and wellness brand on TikTok, and said it had earned more than $19.9 million on TikTok Shop as of October 31. The brand’s TikTok account had about 388,100 followers and 9.3 million likes at the time. Cardi B is quoted praising the body oil: “This oil got my skin feeling so soft.”

How much of Her Fantasy Box’s sales came through TikTok Shop. Both figures are company-reported, via press releases quoted by AfroTech (December 2025) and AfroTech (June 2026). They cover slightly different dates, so the ratio is approximate.

Put the two company figures side by side and TikTok Shop accounts for roughly a fifth of the lifetime total. That’s our arithmetic, and it is rough, because the two numbers were reported for different dates. It still says something useful: the platform that made the brand visible was not the whole business. Rowe herself points to top rankings “on both TikTok Shop and Amazon.”

From the feed to the pharmacy aisle

The CVS deal is the step that moves a social-commerce brand onto a national shelf. AfroTech reported on June 26, 2026 that Her Fantasy Box products would launch in more than 4,000 CVS Pharmacy stores and on CVS.com, and the company held a launch event in New Orleans on July 2. “To see Her Fantasy Box on shelves at CVS Pharmacy and CVS.com is an incredible full-circle moment,” Rowe said.

The same coverage notes the company made the 2026 Inc. 5000 list of fast-growing private companies, ranked No. 1 in the Southeast region. AfroTech doesn’t give its national rank or growth rate, so we don’t either.

Why the ownership answer matters

Most consumer brands that reach nine figures get there with venture or private equity money and a founder whose stake shrinks with each round. We’ve tracked that pattern on this site, and the exceptions stand out. Val Emanuel launched Rif Care, a hemp period-care brand, in the same year and the same aisle, and took on investors along the way. Gloria Williams turned a 2012 Oprah tweet into Footnanny, a founder-led body-care brand that also went from word of mouth to a big-box retail deal, with Costco in 2018.

Rowe’s version is to grow on sales alone and keep the company. “The greatest achievement is the community of women who have supported us every step of the way,” she said. Her Fantasy Box has not published revenue for 2026, profit figures or a valuation, and no reliable figure for Rowe’s personal net worth has been published, so this profile doesn’t offer one.

Figures are company-reported, as published by AfroTech in December 2025 and June 2026. Last checked October 28, 2026.
