From 6sense to a restart
TechCrunch says 6sense began in 2013 as a lead-generation tool that tracked buying signals across social media and other sites, and that Kahlow left in 2020. Primary Ventures writes that after a break she founded 1mind, with Sachin Bhat, a former Rippling engineering leader, as CTO.
Founders who start again after a first company are a pattern in this archive. Eugenia Kuyda left Replika and built Wabi, and Jessica Herrin followed Stella & Dot with an AI marketing agent called Marklo. Kahlow’s version is a return to the same customer, the revenue team, with a different tool.
The money
Primary says it led a $10 million seed round in spring 2024. On November 10, 2025, 1mind announced a $30 million Series A led by Battery Ventures, taking the total to $40 million. TechCrunch and SiliconANGLE report the same round and the same lead, along with Primary, Wing Venture Capital, Operator Collective, Harmonic Growth Partners and Success Venture Partners. Some data sites date the round to 2026; the company’s announcement says November 2025.
TechCrunch reported 44 employees and 71 open roles at the time. Neither it nor the other outlets we read disclosed revenue.
What the product is
TechCrunch says the first product, an agent called Mindy, was built for inbound sales rather than cold outreach, and had been quietly shipping for about a year. SiliconANGLE describes the company’s “Superhumans” as AI avatars with a photorealistic face and voice, trained on a company’s product knowledge and sales playbooks, that handle qualification, demos and onboarding and hand off to human reps when needed.
The pitch is a different sort of seller, not a bigger list of leads. That is a bet on the same buyer behavior that 6sense’s intent data tracked, now answered by software rather than by a person.
Ride-Along
On May 20, 2026, MarTech Vibe reported that 1mind had launched Ride-Along, which joins scheduled meetings on Zoom, Microsoft Teams and Google Meet as a named, visible attendee, answers technical questions, presents slides and handles objections. DestinationCRM covered it in June and quoted Kahlow saying it gives every account executive “a world-class sales engineer on every call.”
The company’s launch announcement claims 2x to 5x conversion lift and 62% shorter sales cycles, plus a customer case study with a faster sales cycle and higher win rate. We have not verified those, and they come from a vendor describing its own product.
What we could not confirm
Customer counts vary by date and source: more than 30 (TechCrunch, November 2025), more than 45 (SiliconANGLE, the same month) and more than 70 (the company, May 2026). All are company-reported. We found no disclosed revenue, no round after the Series A, and no independent audit of the performance claims.
