Hailing from Houston, Texas, Stephanie Joplin is a woman of many talents and interests, covering a variety of topics like lifestyle, relationships, mental health, beauty, and fitness on her hit podcast, The Luxury Dropout. After building a career as a digital content creator since the fall of 2020, she’s expanding her horizons even more on her new podcast.
Joplin has seen a great response to her show since the beginning, and she doesn’t show signs of slowing down anytime soon. On an upcoming episode, Joplin sits down with renowned speaker, Rapid Transformational Therapy (RTT) trainer, and best-selling author, Marisa Peer. Joplin even credits Peer with teaching her the power of manifestation and harnessing her power in 2020. Their conversation digs deep and is sure to be a new favorite for Joplin’s listeners.
Originally getting her start in the digital space on Twitter a decade ago, Joplin would live-tweet her reactions to Texans and Rockets games, and grew her audience organically from there. Later, she began working professionally for FOX Sports Houston, covering the Houston Aeros, and later for Legacy Fighting Alliance, a regional MMA promotion. Joplin has always respected the art of interviewing and was sure to do diligent research and preparation of all athletes before speaking with them, which is a skill she has carried over to today on The Luxury Dropout.
With Stephanie Joplin LLC recently celebrating its first birthday, Joplin is able to reflect on the journey she took to get where she’s at today. After eventually leaving the sports industry as her “real life” job in corporate hospitality became more demanding, she eventually hit a crossroads in the fall of 2020 after being laid off. She states:
“In order to grow, I knew I needed to step out of my comfort zone. I could either go back to what I was good at, or I could finally take my shot at the dream.”
Now being a few months into The Luxury Dropout, it’s evident that Joplin is striking a chord with fans, and she hopes to keep growing the show and have it touch the hearts and minds of women everywhere. She truly has a passion for helping others and expects nothing in return.
