Rhonda believes women should have the ability to take care of their kids and still build a profitable business.
So in 2004, she set out on a mission to create a program to help women build a business, quit their job, and still have time to raise their kids. The thought of Being a new mom and not being able to give quality time to her firstborn forced her over the edge. Yes, Rhonda quit her corporate executive position that was paying a six-figure salary, expense account, and safety net.
She knew there was more. Understanding the need for changing times and the growth of the digital era, Rhonda went all chips in learning from the marketing gurus and mentors like Perry Marshall.
That was a turning point in her life. She started thinking about how to help others. She wanted to empower women.
Losing Hope is NOT an Option!
Rhonda followed three principles to achieve her goal of owning a company that empowers women. Those three principles that helped her stay focused are determination, passion, and resilience. Every time she failed she stood back up again. Like the Chinese idiom – fall seven times and get up eight times.
Rhonda knew what it could take to reach her goals whether it was tough or challenging she was ready to face it. These challenges didn’t compare to the actions she witnessed from her father – stealing, cheating, and using drugs was a daily occurrence. So, losing hope was not an option for her which started from the messed-up childhood she experienced.
She used her bad childhood as a springboard towards her success. Wishing for the American dream with passion and conviction, she started the quest for empowering women. That led to many successful business ventures and partnerships.
Rhonda has had the opportunity to work alongside Cynthia Kersey the founder of the Unstoppable Foundation to take her motivation for helping women into philanthropy. Besides possessing a legendary vision and outlook for females, Rhonda also aims to give mother nature what it needs – 10,000 trees in 2021.
Rhonda Swan’s new book, “Designed To Lead,” will launch in March. This second book of hers will tell the story of 13 women and how they have chosen leadership as their muse. It will highlight women and their challenges navigating in a male-driven society.
In these books, Rhonda reveals the secrets of floating in a sea of accomplishments while remaining humble and honest- a rare characteristic these days.
