Meet Melissa Jirovec, a mindset strategist, who is taking the business industry by storm, and changing the way you learn to grow your business.
Melissa is an online coach, mom of 2, and wants to help you change the way you see results in your business.
“I saw what personal development did for me, and then for my husband. I saw how much faster my progress was once I got the right mentors. I discovered a creative side to myself that I never even knew was possible, an inner peace I never imagined I could have, confidence I’d only ever dreamed of, true connection with others that I’d always desperately wanted. Essentially, I saw what life could be. It was empowering and inspiring, and exciting. And I wanted to experience this every day- directly and indirectly through the ambition and success of my clients.”
Melissa’s story isn’t your average personal development journey though, her rise to the top started out differently than most.
“I grew up in a small town in Northern Ontario. As a young girl, I was shy with poor self-esteem and to be brutally honest, I didn’t think I was very smart or capable. After a year of working as a nurse, my then fiance was in an accident and acquired a traumatic brain injury. In 2014 I became a caregiver at 23 years old. I also became an advocate, and this was the catalyst for a personal transformation that took me from poor self-worth and fear of failure & criticism, to a confident and effective individual with a strong voice and a passion for life.”
“What makes me unique is that not only have I owned my story, but I’ve never ceased to prioritize my personal development and wellness since that accident. I am continuously upgrading my self-image and becoming more effective. I set big goals and I achieve them. I go out into the world (these days mostly online) and make the things I want happen. I connect with powerful mentors and sit with the hard truths about myself. I no longer let outward circumstances define what I can do, because I live from the inside out. I have vision, and I no longer need approval or permission to move towards that vision”, Melissa explains.
Melissa now dedicates a lot of her time to give back to the industry she’s fallen in love with, coaching others on how to achieve success in the industry on their own terms.
“A person who is successful has direction- they have something to work towards. A successful person knows that goals are necessary to move forward, to grow, to improve, to thrive. A successful person can handle what life throws at them because they know that no matter what happens, there are good things coming. They know this because they’ve seen it in their mind, they’ve made a decision to go for it, and so, it is only a matter of time.”
Her advice for you today is, “no matter how solid of a plan you have or no matter how great the company structure if you’re consulting, you won’t be successful unless you work on the beliefs and habits that you currently have that get in your way. Consider personal development as an investment in your business, because you are your business and your greatest asset.”
